We know that playing bass is a life-long pursuit.  Jane Little is showing us the way in style.  This 87-year old bassist has set a world record having achieved the longest professional tenure with a single orchestra.

Little joined the Atlanta Symphony back in 1945 when she was only 16.  She was appointed co-principal bass in 1967.  As principal bass emeritus, she is now serving her 71st  uninterrupted season.

The ISB honors and congratulates Jane on her achievements.  Congratulations!
