If you plan to drive to the convention you will have a place to keep your car on campus at no cost. Just enter the GPS address: 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850, and follow ISB signs when you arrive on campus.
Flying to Ithaca and nearby
Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport – “One connection to the world.” (ITH) is the closest airport to Ithaca College. ITH offers one-stop connectivity to most major U.S. cities and world capitals. www.flyithaca.com, 1 Culligan Drive Ithaca, NY 14850, 607-257-0456
Elmira Corning Regional Airport – (ELM) has served the Southern Tier of Central New York and Northern Tier of Central Pennsylvania since 1945. The Airport offers business and leisure travelers convenient access to major urban areas while maintaining the advantages of a small, regional airport. http://www.chemungcounty.com/
These two airports are closest to the venue, though they service smaller planes, so they are unlikely to handle several bass trunks on one flight very effectively. These airports do have regular connections to to Newark, Philadelphia, Detroit, Orlando, and St. Petersburg (Florida).
If you are flying with a bass, you will probably want to fly into Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR)
Syracuse Hancock International Airport – (SYR) Syracuse Hancock International Airport is Central New York’s gateway to the world. With dozens of direct flights across the East Coast and Midwest, Syracuse is a great place to begin your journey.http://www.syrairport.org/ 1000Col. Eileen Collins Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13212

Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC), though this airport is farther from Ithaca, and I am no aware of any direct shuttle service to Ithaca.
Both SYR and ROC airports service larger planes, and ought to be able to handle flight cases and the overwhelming attractive features of most bass players.
