We just received some great news from ISB past president Barre Phillips:
Dear bass player friends and friends of bass players –
Many of you have been to my home and know the site. For the past two years I’ve been working with the city of Puget-Ville and a group of friends to develop this historical site into a place where artists from all horizons can meet to work together. We’ve made a French not for profit association: please check it out:
CEPI Village is a physical place located in France, in the Provence, dedicated to creative exchange between the arts and sciences via improvisation.
In conjunction with an Italian association, Bassa Definizione, they have created an international meeting that will happen in July. This is very exciting news for the improvisation world.
If you are unable to make the meeting in July, you might want to look into the workshop in September. Check out their website or our ISB Event Hub for all the details.
