On April 9, 2014 the Shenandoah Conservatory Bass Ensemble, directed by Dr. Donovan Stokes, premiered a new work “Bass Quartet” by 12 year old composer Zev Malina. The work was commissioned by Inez Wyrick, Donovan Stokes and the Bass Coalition.
