ISB Convention Overview: Although the ISB was founded in 1967 and involved a variety of summer gathering experiences over the years, we hosted our first full-on international convention in 1984 at Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL with Executive Director and Convention Chair, Jeff Bradetich at the helm. Now is the time to make your plans for ISB 2017!  Register early to get the discount.  Remember, all bassists must be members of the ISB to register for the convention for the week. Pre-registration must be received at the ISB office by May 22, 2017. After that date, please register on-site at the convention.
