ISB Young Bassists – final day schedule

Hello Young Bassists! In today’s email we’re talking about the last day of the convention – Saturday June 10. This is the big day for the Young Bassists program and we are front and center at the 1pm performance in Ford Hall.  Here is how that day will work: 8:30-10am  College Fair – please plan on attending this. Late breaking Young Bassist scholarship opportunity to attend ISB 2017!

The ISB has received a last minute donation that will allow us to offer financial support to students (18 and younger) to attend the Young Bassists program this summer during the ISB Convention in Ithaca, NY, June 6-10, 2017. Scholarship will cover registration, housing, meal plan, membership, and possibly some transportation support. The YB program is a bass “camp” that happens within the main convention, with programming specifically for pre-college students. The daily schedule runs from 9 am to 4 pm with workshops and masterclasses with international artist teachers, and rehearsals in large and small ensembles that prepare us...
